Only 388 out of 1086 administrative procedures have been simplified to date, or 36 per cent of the total, according to a report presented at the October conference of the Prime Minister’s Project 06 working group, which is in charge of directing the implementation of a project on developing the application of a population database, e-identification, and e-authentication for digital transformation (Project 06), held on October 27 and chaired by its head, Minister of Public Security To Lam.
The number of simplified administrative procedures reported to the conference increased by 13 against the figure reported at the September conference.
Sixteen ministries and agencies were identified as having a low rate of simplification, including eleven ministries and agencies posting less than 50 per cent. These will be reported to the Prime Minister.
Discussions at the conference focused on identifying solutions to push the process forward.
Minister To Lam asked ministries and agencies to more vigorously accelerate the process of administrative procedure reform, thus completing the simplification of the remaining 698 procedures as soon as possible.
