OSI Holdings kicks off construction of office and retail tower in Hanoi

Ngoc Lan -

Construction of the new project in the Starlake urban area is expected to be completed in 2025.

OSI Holdings officially began construction of the Oriental Square office and retail tower on January 26 in Hanoi’s Starlake urban area.

Oriental Square is the result of strategic coordination between Orient Success International Investment (OSI Holdings) and the Dai Nam Tien Construction Investment Joint Stock Company.

It will cover a land area of 3,946 sq m with a gross floor area of 28,652 sq m, including a three-level basement and 16 levels. Floor heights average 4.2 meters, and 6.3 meters in the commercial service block. Construction is expected to be completed in 2025.

The project is located amid the headquarters of 12 ministries and departments and the offices of major companies such as Daewoo, Samsung, CJ, and Takashimaya. Its location also connects handily to key transport links such as Vo Chi Cong Street, Ring Roads No. 2.5, and 3, and future metro stations.

It was built as LEED Gold-certified green office spaces.

Mr. Nguyen Viet Hai from Dai Nam Tien said that even before construction began, tenants had registered to fill about 60 per cent of the space.

“Oriental Square is a pivotal project for us on our ongoing journey of business development,” he added. “Beyond integrating nature into the workspace, the project also focuses on achieving work-life balance to ensure both employee health and productivity. We are confident that the project will soon establish itself as a new landmark in Grade A office space in Hanoi’s western reaches in general and the Starlake urban area in particular.”

Ms. Hoang Nguyet Minh, Director of Commercial Leasing at the project’s leasing agent Savills Hanoi, said it comes as no surprise to see Oriental Square achieving over 60 per cent occupancy even before the commencement of construction. “Thanks to green spaces with high standards, projects like Oriental Square meet the needs of both domestic and international businesses,” she added. “The development will bring much-needed Grade A office supply to Starlake.”

OSI Holdings has a portfolio comprising urban areas, office buildings, residential developments, hotels, and golf courses, with other projects in Vietnam’s capital including Avenue Garden in Tay Tuu, Bac Tu Liem district.
