Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh has approved a proposal from the Ministry of Transport to build a transport link connecting southern Binh Phuoc and Dong Nai provinces, to meet needs in the southern region and connect it with the central highlands.
Binh Phuoc is considered a strategic location connecting central highlands’ localities with Ho Chi Minh City and the southern region. It boasts potential in industry, agriculture, and services but faces difficulties in transport infrastructure.
There is currently no route connecting the two provinces directly, so the construction of this new road is important, according to the Ministry.
It will have a total length of between 71 and 76 km.
