Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh chaired a meeting on June 10 morning to identify solutions to remove obstacles, thus accelerating the implementation of a project on developing the application of population database, e-identification, and e-authentication for the national digital transformation in the 2022-2025 period with a vision to 2030 (Project 06), which was approved by the PM in 2022.

The implementation of the project has brought in practical results in management tasks at different levels and contributed to boosting socio-economic development.

The project has played a pioneer role in national digital transformation and promoting digital administration methods, helping to enhance the development of e-government, digital economy, digital society and digital citizens.

However, the Prime Minister noted that there remain difficulties and challenges which have hindered the implementation of the project, particularly obstacles relating to regulations, technology infrastructure, data, security and human resources.

The Government leader asked participants to review the implementation of the project, highlighting both achievements and shortcomings and obstacles in order to identify ways to handle difficulties.

Participants were instructed to share experience and creative methods in implementing the project and discuss future tasks and solutions as well as consult the Government to issue new directions more effectively and sustainably.
