Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh has asked for greater efforts to continue building and perfecting institutions, removing obstacles and unleashing resources for rapid and sustainable development.
Speaking at the government’s monthly law-making session on December 26 in Hanoi, the Prime Minister said that building laws and perfecting institutions are among the strategic breakthroughs and a focus of the government’s investment and implementation.
During the meeting, the government considered amending and supplementing a number of articles in the Law on People’s Public Security, and proposed building laws such as the Law Amending and Supplementing the Law on Credit Institutions; the Law on Citizenship Identification (amended); the Law on Industrial Defense, Security and Industrial Mobilization; the Law on the Digital Technology Industry; and the Law on Urban and Rural Planning.
Regarding future tasks, he called for the strengthening of the role of leaders; tightening discipline; improving the capacity to respond to policies and remove obstacles and inadequacies; and promoting recovery and socioeconomic development.
It is also necessary to focus on resources investment and boost the quality of human resources, he added.
