PM decides construction of Hanoi’s Ring Road 4 will begin on June 25

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh has decided to start construction of Hanoi’s Ring Road No. 4 on June 25.

The ring road will stretch 112.8 km and pass through Hanoi and Hung Yen and Bac Ninh provinces.

Total investment is estimated at VND86 trillion ($3.62 billion).

Once open to traffic in early 2027, it is expected to improve connectivity between Hanoi and northern provinces and support socio-economic development in the entire northern region, with Hanoi being the main driver of growth.

On the same day, construction of Cao Lanh - An Huu Expressway connecting the Mekong Delta’s Dong Thap and Tien Giang provinces will also get underway. The project was approved by the Prime Minister in June 2022.

The 27.43-km expressway has total investment of nearly VND5.9 trillion ($248 million).
