Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and his spouse, accompanied by a high-ranking delegation from Vietnam, began their official visit to Hungary on the afternoon of January 18, at the invitation of Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban.
During the January 18-20 visit, Prime Minister Chinh is scheduled to have talks and meetings with Prime Minister Orban and other senior Hungarian leaders, visit some socio-economic establishments, attend a Vietnam - Hungary business forum, and meet with leaders of friendship organizations, staff at the Vietnam Embassy in Hungary, and representatives from the Vietnamese community in the country.
His visit to Hungary is expected to further increase political trust and intensify the traditional friendship and mutual support between the two countries, thus meeting both country’s development requirements.
