Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh issued a Dispatch on July 13 directing ministries, agencies, and localities to take measures to improve administrative procedures and tackle difficulties facing businesses and individuals, the Government News has reported.
The Dispatch states that the government and the Prime Minister have issued many legal documents to guide administrative reform and national digital transformation, helping to cut and simplify many administrative procedures and contributing to saving time and cost for businesses and individuals.
However, administrative reform at some ministries, agencies, and localities has yet to prove effective, hindering production and trade, particularly at export enterprises.
In order to address the shortcomings and improve the efficiency of administrative reform efforts, the Prime Minister asked relevant ministries, agencies, and localities to take measures such as reviewing and removing administrative procedures that are obstacles to production and trade and strictly addressing related feedback and complaints from businesses and individuals.
They are requested to review and simplify internal administrative procedures between State administrative agencies in 2022-2025, to reduce at least 20 percent of them, and to cut compliance costs by 20 per cent.
