Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh has assigned targets for localities to have social houses constructed in the 2025-2030 period.

The yearly targets nationwide gradually increase, starting with 100,275 units in 2025 and reaching 271,161 units by 2030.

Of the total, Hanoi is expected to complete 4,670 units in 2025 and 14,216 by 2030. Meanwhile, HCM City will complete 2,874 units in 2025 and 19,221 by 2030.

The Prime Minister in 2023 approved a project to build at least one million social houses for low income earners and workers at industrial zones nationwide  in the 2021-2030 period.
