Priority given to building coastal waterway corridors

Under the Vietnam Inland Waterway Infrastructure Plan for the 2021-2030 period and vision to 2050, coastal corridors from northern Quang Ninh province to the Mekong Delta’s Kien Giang province are considered to be of most importance. The Ministry of Transport will issue mechanisms and policies to optimally develop coastal transport in the time to come.
