Giang Hoang -

State-owned energy firm pioneers LNG transport by truck, offering customers a cleaner, more flexible energy option.

PV GAS has begun delivering liquefied natural gas (LNG) by truck to industrial customers. The first shipments, dispatched from the Thi Vai Loading Station on March 15, mark a milestone for Vietnam's energy sector. This launch expands PV GAS's portfolio, allowing it to offer customers an integrated energy solutions package that includes LPG, CNG, and LNG.

PV GAS has meticulously prepared the infrastructure and logistics for its new LNG service. Customers in Long An province, including major manufacturers, are among the first to shift from compressed natural gas (CNG) to LNG.

LNG offers advantages in efficiency, environmental benefits, and transportation flexibility. PV GAS is committed to securing a reliable supply of LNG to meet the growing domestic demand.

The company plans to expand its Thi Vai LNG Depot, aiming for a capacity of 3 million tons per year by 2026. Additional LNG port projects are in the works for Binh Thuan province and other northern regions. PV GAS is actively forging partnerships with global LNG suppliers.
