The Quang Binh Provincial People’s Committee has given the go ahead to planning for the Hai Ninh coastal tourism urban area.
Covering 755.47 ha, the central province’s new urban area will be developed under green, ecological, and modern criteria in harmony with the natural landscape.
It will have comprehensive technical and social infrastructure connected to neighboring areas, creating the legal conditions for the management of land and construction activities.
The project will consist of two main areas: trade and sea-based tourism, and residential.
Under its master planning in the 2021-2030 period with a vision to 2050, which was approved by the government in April, the province has identified tourism as a spearhead economic sector to boost socio-economic growth and sustainability. It targets promoting Quang Binh as one of the most attractive destinations in Vietnam and an adventure tourism center in Asia.
