Quang Nam proposes upgrades to Chu Lai Airport

Central Quang Nam province has proposed that Airports Corporation of Vietnam (ACV) develop Chu Lai Airport into a 4F standard international airport capable of welcoming 40 million passengers a year by 2050. Chu Lai is the largest airport in Vietnam in terms of land area occupied, with 2,006 ha. Under planning, in addition to passenger transport, it will also be a center for international cargo transport, aircraft repair and maintenance, pilot training, and other aviation activities.
