A national startup support center will be established in central Quang Nam province to help promote the startup ecosystem in the province, the central region, the central highlands, and the country as a whole, according to Honorary Chairman of the National Entrepreneur Association Dr. Vu Tien Loc.

It will be a place to connect with the national ecosystem and attract domestic and international startups, he told a meeting with Quang Nam authorities on June 27 to discuss issues relating to startup and innovation support programs and investing in a startup space in the province.

This is part of activities to implement Quang Nam’s master plan on a national startup year.

Under the plan, the fourth Techfest Quang Nam 2023 is scheduled to be held on August 26-28 in Tam Ky city.

Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee Ho Quang Buu said the province will create the best conditions possible to help the National Entrepreneur Association develop the province’s startup ecosystem.

He proposed the association coordinate with Quang Nam in innovation and startup development activities as well as provide consultancy and support in human resources training.
