Northern Quang Ninh province welcomed its three-millionth foreign tourist of 2024, Ms. Tina Bogle from the US, on October 21.

Ms. Tina Bogle and her husband, Mr. Davia Bogle, along with nearly 900 tourists arrived at the Ha Long International Passenger Port on the Viking Orion cruise ship that traveled from Hong Kong (China).

During their two-day stay, they are set to visit Ha Long bay, Quang Ninh museum and many other tourist attractions.

Around 60 cruise ships are expected to visit the province’s Ha Long Bay in the 2024-2025 season with a number of tourists estimated at more than 100,000. They will include luxury ones of such renowned brands as Viking Orion, Costa, Seven Seas, Noordam, Celebrity Solstice, and Mein Schiff.

Quang Ninh targets to welcome 19 million tourists this year, including over 3.5 million foreign visitors.
