Northern Quang Ninh province is estimated to record GRDP growth of 11.02 per cent for 2023, 0.74 percentage points higher than last year.

This will mark the eighth consecutive year the province has posted double-digit growth.

Its economic scale is expected to exceed VND312 trillion ($13 billion).

Revenue from imports and exports is estimated at VND16 trillion ($666 million), a year-on-year rise of 33 per cent.

The figures were released at a recent session of the Quang Ninh Provincial Party Committee.

Regarding investment attraction, the province is predicted to attract FDI worth $3.1 billion this year.

It also recorded improvements in administrative reform and its investment environment.
