Authorities of Quang Tri province in Central Vietnam are calling for domestic and foreign investment in six major real estate projects with a combined investment capital of over VND46 trillion ($1.75 billion).
The largest project is an urban complex to be built to the west of Le Ky river with an estimated investment capital of more than VND13.88 trillion ($529 million). It will cover 291.5ha in Quang Ninh commune and Dong Hoi ward for a population estimated at 34,844 people.
Another project is a coastal urban area along Nhat Le beach with a total investment capital of mover VND12.5 trillion ($477 million). As projected, 5,412 houses will be built, serving some 19,500 people, in the 276 - ha urban area.
Meanwhile, an urban complex to the west of Bau Tro lake will be built with an estimated investment capital of VND11.93 trillion ($455 million). It will cover over 212 ha in Dong Hoi and Dong Thuan wards with a population of around 11,360.
Other projects include the Trung Trach and Dai Trach 2 urban areas with an investment capital of over VND5.23 trillion ($199 million) and VND932 billion ($35.5 million), respectively. The Trung Trach urban area will cover over 75 ha in Hoa Lao commune, serving 9,700 people; while the Dai Trach 2 will cover more than 53 ha in Hoan Lao commune, providing accommodation for some 3,150 people.
The last project is the urban area in Nam Gianh commune, which will cover over 41ha, with an investment capital estimated at around VND1.647 trillion ($62.8 million).
