The People’s Committee of central Quang Tri province has proposed the Government to invest in building two routes connecting Cam Lo – La Son expressway.

The first route will connect the National Highway 15D with Cam Lo – La Son expressway. It is about 8km long and has two lanes, with total investment capital estimated at VND630 billion ($25.4 million).

The second route will connect the expressway with the National Highway No.1 and the provincial road No.579. It has a total length of 13.2 km and two lanes. Construction would require an estimated investment capital of VND500 billion ($19.6 million).

The two proposed routes, upon completion, will help to boost connection between Quang Tri's Southeastern Economic Zone and its My Thuy port, according to the provincial People’s Committee.

The province proposed to use the State budget to invest in the projects.
