Australian agriculture-technology (agrotech) business RLF AgTech Ltd. announced on May 25 it has entered into an agreement worth A$3.3 million ($2.15 million) over the next five years with Vietnamese agricultural products distributor Kona Crop Science.

Kona Crop Science will distribute RLF AgTech’s specialized crop nutrition products to improve the quality of crops in Vietnam. The agreement will provide RLF Agtech with access to Kona’s 400+ distribution points in Vietnam, allowing the company to reach a much larger customer base and penetrate further into the market.

Mr. Ken Hancock, Managing Director of RLF AgTech, said it is pleased to announce the distribution partnership with Kona in Vietnam. This represents further growth of its sales network in Southeast Asia and the expansion of its brand throughout the region.

“Kona is known as a progressive and aggressive marketer in this highly valuable market, and we know they will represent RLF’s products with dedication and support,” he said. “We continue to introduce products throughout the region, utilizing our newly-established office and local workforce as they work closely alongside our in-country distribution partners to drive the market visibility of RLF’s innovative technology.”

RLF’s Ho Chi Minh City office opened in November 2022, enabling the employment of local staff and the acquisition of valuable local product registrations. The Vietnam team will continue to raise awareness about its innovative technology, which will be further boosted by working alongside Kona’s sales and technical teams to support Kona’s retailer network.
