Road permits hampering exporters

Many exporters of pepper, rubber, vegetables, and coffee are at risk of not being able to complete import-export procedures and meet delivery schedules due to difficulties in applying for road permits. The waiting time is overly long and each locality has its own method of issuance, causing problems for businesses. Industry associations are calling for help from the Prime Minister, ministries, agencies, and local authorities to smooth out the process.
