Authorities in north-central Nghe An province have given the green light to a $590 million project by Mega Textile Singapore Limited in the Southeast Nghe An Economic Zone.

The project will cover over 51 ha at the Tho Loc Industrial Park.

Annual production capacity is expected to reach 67,200 tons of fabric, 10,300 tons of knitwear, 7,200 tons of colored yarn, 100 million belts, 130 million clothing items, and 2.2 million cut semi-finished products.

The preparation of investment procedures is expected for completion by the second quarter of 2025.

Phase 1, Phase 2, and Phase 3 of the project are scheduled to start operations in the second quarter of 2028, 2030 and 2034, respectively.
