South Korea’s DRP Development Company has revealed a plan to invest in building a golf course in central Quang Tri province with an estimated investment capital of $100 million.
The company’s Deputy Director Kim Byung Chang has recently met the provincial authorities to discuss the project.
The project is planned to cover 172.4 ha in Gio Linh district. It will include a 27-hole golf course, a golf academy, a resort and entertainment facilities.
The company had visited Gio Linh district in March this year to study the investment opportunity.
At the meeting, Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Vo Van Hung basically agreed with the investment policy of the project.
The project is expected to help attract more domestic and foreign visitors to Quang Tri, particularly after the construction of Quang Tri airport is complete.
