Southern Dong Nai province is set to auction 39 land plots this year, with procedures for 17 plots nearly completed.
According to the provincial People's Committee, local departments, sectors, and district-level agencies are urged to finalize the necessary auction procedures for the remaining plots, as per previously issued land exploitation projects. One more land plot in Xuan Loc district has also been added to the auction list.
During a meeting on January 14 with the provincial Land Development Center, departments, sectors, and localities, Chairman of the Dong Nai People's Committee Vo Tan Duc highlighted that land auctions from 2021 to the end of 2024 failed to meet expectations.
The reasons included a frozen real estate market, a shortage of valuation units, prolonged planning and appraisal processes, and insufficient coordination between localities and departments.
Mr. Duc endorsed the proposal to include 39 land plots in the 2025 auction plan for land use right.
The provincial leadership has tasked the Land Development Center with developing the plan and soon submitting it to the People's Committee for approval. Additionally, efforts will be focused on completing procedures to auction three large land plots in Long Thanh district within the first half of the year.
