Over 100 businesses are showcasing products at the Spring Trade Fair that opened in Hanoi on January 30.
The nine-day exhibition is being organized by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (MARD) as the Tet (Lunar New Year) holiday nears.
Products are being displayed at 100 booths on over 1,000 sq m. Key commodities include agriculture, forestry and fisheries products, flowers, ornamental trees, handicrafts, and consumer goods.
The annual Fair is aimed at helping businesses promote their products and brands, contributing to boosting their production and trade, prestige, and competitiveness, according to Nguyen Minh Tien, Director of the Agricultural Trade Promotion Center at MARD.
Products introduced at the fair are diverse and come from different regions in the country, and are of high quality with clear origin, to help meet consumer demand for Tet, he said.
