$1.05bln expressway through Dak Nong and Binh Phuoc on the cards
If approved, construction of the 129-km link in Vietnam’s south will get underway in 2024 and be completed in 2026.
Gia Nghia - Chon Thanh Expressway to be built as PPP
The Binh Phuoc Provincial People’s Committee will be the authorized agency in the construction of the Gia Nghia - Chon Thanh Expressway under the public-private partnership (PPP) mode and with a build-operate-transfer (BOT) contract. The 140-km project is a component of the Ho Chi Minh Highway and connects southern Binh Phuoc province with the central highlands’ Dak Nong province and has total investment of VND23 trillion ($982 million).
Dak Nong to recover thousands of hectares for projects
The central highlands’ Dak Nong province plans to recover land or change the land use purpose for 235 socio-economic development projects to be implemented in 2022 on a total area of more than 4,380 ha, including a number of solar power and wind power projects, bauxite mines, commercial - service areas, and urban areas.
