Under a new decree, Minister of Finance shall exercise the authority to give opinions and decide on the signing of bilateral and multilateral Advance Pricing Arrangements (APAs) involving foreign tax authorities.

In response to Typhoon No. 4, forecast to be the strongest in decades and causing heavy damage to central Vietnam, international organizations have prepared quick response plans, possibly calling for emergency assistance and planning to assess damage after the storm if necessary. After assessing the risks, they will synthesize information for the government and donors, from which emergency relief decisions can be made.

From August 16 to 19, a Danish business delegation including 13 leading companies in the field of agriculture and food are holding working sessions in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City to exchange cooperative opportunities with potential partners in Vietnam. Vietnam is one of the first countries to participate in the “Strategic Sector Cooperation on Food Safety in the Pork Value Chain” (SSC) program initiated by Denmark.
