HCMC to develop logistics into key economic sector
Logistics currently accounts for 8.6 per cent of Ho Chi Minh City’s gross regional domestic product (GRDP), but detailed planning for each type of logistics is yet to be implemented. The city aims to develop logistics into a key economic sector. The Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee recently approved a logistics development project with the goal of contributing 10 per cent of GRDP by 2025 and 12 per cent by 2030.
