Night-time economies have been gradually promoted in Vietnamese tourist destinations after a development project was approved by the Prime Minister. Vi Thanh city in the Mekong Delta’s Hau Giang province holds many advantages for developing its night-time economy. The city is focusing on investing in its tourism sector, contributing to improving efficiency at tourism businesses, prolonging stays, and increasing average spending and visitor satisfaction.
The night-time economy attracts tourists and creates specialties for localities, so the more diverse the economy is the more likely it will encourage tourists to stay longer and stimulate spending. Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Hoi An, Da Nang, Khanh Hoa, Thua Thien-Hue, and elsewhere will implement the “Developing the night-time economy” project, contributing to improving the efficiency of tourism businesses, extending average stays, and increasing visitor satisfaction.
