Quang Tri province plans to invest in and maintain two to three pedestrian street models in promising areas for night economy development, such as Dong Ha city, Quang Tri town, and Huong Hoa district.

This is outlined in the draft Plan to develop the central province's night economy for the period 2025-2030, submitted by the provincial Department of Planning and Investment.

The specific goal for 2025 is to achieve a service sector growth rate of 7-7.5% per year, attract nearly 3 million tourists (with 22% participating in the night economy), have 6,500 accommodation rooms, and increase retail sales and social consumption service revenue by an average of 11.7% per year.

For 2026-2030, the province aims for a service sector growth rate of 8-8.5% per year, with retail sales and social consumption service revenue increasing by an average of 14.3% year-on-year.

By 2030, the province targets attracting more than 4 million tourists (with 35% participating in the night economy) and having 9,400 accommodation rooms.

The plan includes maintaining existing night street models, implementing one to two pedestrian street models and night markets in each locality, and establishing at least three to four entertainment complexes for night activities.

The total estimated budget for the projected plan is estimated at over VND14.7 trillion ($597 million), with VND14.6 trillion to be sourced from social funding.
