Quang Tri Airport to be built under PPP form
Deputy Prime Minister Le Van Thanh has signed a decision to establish an interdisciplinary appraisal council on the feasibility study of component 2 in the construction of Quang Tri Airport under the public-private partnership (PPP) method. The central province’s airport is on the list of 28 airports in the master plan to 2030 approved by the Prime Minister.
$260mln to come for Quang Tri Airport
The Quang Tri Airport project will receive investment of nearly VND6 trillion ($262.83 million) in the form of public-private partnership (PPP) funding. The central province of Quang Tri expects the airport to contribute to the development of the local tourism sector once in operation, especially historical tourism, making it a spearhead economic sector.
