Referring to the fact that Vietnam’s stock exchange became a member of the Association of ASEAN Stock Exchanges (ASEAN Exchanges) on September 30, the Ministry of Finance said that by participating in ASEAN Exchanges, the stock exchange can access information and experience in stock market management and institutionalize regional cooperation, to promote the integration of stock markets in the region.

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh visited the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) on May 16 and attended a roundtable discussion with CEOs of leading corporations and investment funds listed on the bourse. He expressed a hope that the NYSE would support the development of an effective and sustainable stock market in Vietnam. The PM also witnessed a ceremony for cooperation documents between Vietnamese and US partners.
