vietnam's Tax Declaration Portal will be piloted in November, allowing taxpayers to declare and pay taxes online, as well as directly submit issues or obstacles for relevant agencies to address promptly, according to Mr. Mai Son, Deputy Director General of the Department of Taxation under the Ministry of Finance.
The trial phase is intended to help business households familiarize themselves with the digital declaration process and ensure a smooth transition once the system becomes fully operational.
The portal is scheduled for official launch on January 1, 2026.
According to the latest data, 98% of business households now declare and pay taxes electronically. More than 18,500 households previously subject to fixed tax have shifted to the declaration regime, while 133,000 households have registered to use electronic invoices from cash registers. These indicators reflect strong digital adoption and positive momentum across the business community.
