Authorities in northern Thai Nguyen province have approved investment policies for the construction of two urban areas and a housing project.
The Linh Son - Huong Thuong Urban Area No. 1 will cover 718,500 sq m in Huong Thuong commune, and house an estimated 4,100 people. Total investment will be some VND3.46 trillion ($146 million).
The Linh Son - Huong Thuong Urban Area No. 2, meanwhile, will be built on an area of 402,000 sq m with a population of 2,900. Total investment is estimated at VND1.13 trillion ($47 million).
The two projects will be implemented from the third quarter of 2023 to the fourth quarter of 2028.
The third project will build a high-rise block with housing and shops on a total area of 9,805 sq m. Construction is estimated to cost over VND1.55 trillion ($65 million) and is scheduled to begin in the third quarter of 2023 and be completed in the first quarter of 2027.
These projects are expected to help meet the increasing demand for housing in the province.
