Central Thanh Hoa Province has granted investment, land, business registration and credit documents to 27 organisations, businesses and investors, with total registered investment capital and credit limits reaching VND13.099 trillion (about $497 million), at the province’s recent 2026 business dialogue conference.
Among the projects presented at the event were three industrial clusters — Tho Ngoc, Van Du II and Hoang Quy — with combined investment of nearly VND1.2 trillion. The clusters are expected to expand industrial production space, create favourable conditions for attracting businesses and support industrial development in the respective localities.
Thanh Hoa also granted in-principle investment approvals for 10 projects, including several large-scale developments in the Nghi Son Economic Zone and other areas across the province.
In addition, three Investment Registration Certificates were awarded for projects involving the production of footwear, printing ink, prestressed centrifugal concrete and high-quality concrete components.
A notable highlight of the conference was the launch of Thanh Hoa Venture Capital Fund Joint Stock Company and Thanh Hoa Innovation Centre Joint Stock Company. The establishment of the two campanies is considered a new step in the province’s efforts to build an innovation ecosystem, support start-ups, promote digital transformation and make science and technology a key driver of economic growth.
