The People's Committee of north-central Thanh Hoa Province has announced the establishment of the Xuan Cao 2 Industrial Cluster in Xuan Cao Commune, Thuong Xuan District.

The new industrial cluster will span approximately 43ha and will involve a VND280 billion (over $11 million) investment capital, focusing on food production and processing industries.

Due to the involvement of forest land, the investor is required to complete the conversion of forest land by March 31, 2026, followed by compensation and site clearance by October 30, 2026, and commencing construction by December 30, 2026.

The project is expected to be completed and operational by the first quarter of 2028.

In mid-January, the People's Committee also approved the establishment of the Hoang Dong Industrial Cluster in Hoang Dong Commune, Hoang Hoa District, covering approximately 30 ha.

This cluster will focus on industries such as food production and processing, manufacturing of apparel, footwear, machinery, auto parts, consumer goods, local industries, and handicrafts. It will also include warehousing, packaging, freight transport, and equipment repair services.

With a total investment of approximately VND300 billion (over $11.8 million), the construction and completion of technical infrastructure for the Hoang Dong Industrial Cluster are scheduled from the first quarter of 2026 to the end of the fourth quarter of 2027, making it ready for secondary investors to lease land for production and business purposes.
