North-central Thanh Hoa province granted investment licenses for 9 investment projects in February, according to the provincial People’s Committee.
They include 6 domestic projects with a total investment capital of over VND2.9 trillion ($118 million) and 3 FDI projects with a combined investment capital of $32.6 million.
They bring the total number of projects attracted by the province so far this year to 21, including 3 FDI, with a total investment capital of nearly VND3.3 trillion ($134 million) and $32.6 million, up three times in the quantity and 6.7 times in value year-on-year.
This is one among achievements recorded by the province in February, said Chief of Office of the provincial People’s Committee Nguyen Trong Trang at a press briefing held on February 22.
The province’s Index of Industrial Production (IIP) increased 9.3 per cent in February, export revenue 52.8 per cent, tourism turnover 46 per cent, retail sales of services and products 21 per cent, and transport revenue 10.2 per cent.
