Thanh Hoa province in Central Vietnam posted export revenue of $4.1 billion in the first seven months of the year, marking a year-on-year increase of 21.8%, according to the provincial People’s Committee.
In July alone, its export value reached $667 million, surging 21.7% compared to the same period last year.
There are currently over 230 enterprises in the central province involving directly in export activities,with a wide range of products, including farm produce, seafood, garments, construction materials, and electronic components.
The provincial authorities set a yearly target of $8 billion in export revenue.
Regarding imports, the province registered import turnover of over $5.6 billion in the seven-month period, equal to 89.6% of last year’s figure.
