The Thanh Hoa Provincial People’s Committee has approved a project to expand a 1.5-km section of Le Loi Avenue in the north-central province’s capital, Thanh Hoa city.

Total investment is estimated at over VND1 trillion ($41.6 million), of which VND450 billion ($18.7 million) will be mobilized from the provincial budget.

Le Loi Avenue, which is 3-km long, is a central route developed along the southwestern axis of Thanh Hoa city and is home to commercial centers and the headquarters of State agencies. It has become overloaded in recent years.

The project is aimed at gradually completing the local transport network and connecting important transport routes in Thanh Hoa province.
