The Thanh Hoa Provincial People’s Committee has approved a project to expand the arterial road of Le Loi in Thanh Hoa city, with total investment of over VND1 trillion ($42 million).

The north-central province’s budget will contribute nearly VND559 billion ($23.5 million).

The road has become overloaded in recent years due to the rising number of vehicles.

It plays an important role in the province’s socio-economic development as it is considered a backbone connecting Thanh Hoa city with Tho Xuan Airport.

The expansion is part of the province’s efforts to gradually complete its transport network and connect important links, helping to meet local people’s travel demand, reducing traffic congestion, and promoting socio-economic development.
