GRDP growth in central Thua Thien-Hue province in the first nine months of the year has been estimated at 6.84 per cent year-on-year, 4 per cent higher than the national average, according to the provincial Department of Planning and Investment.
The province also posted export revenue of $106.4 million, up 24 per cent compared to August but down 40.1 per cent year-on-year.
Its Index of Industrial Production rose 2.4 per cent year-on-year.
The province granted investment licenses to 18 projects with total registered investment capital of more than VND5 trillion ($208 million).
Nearly VND3.5 trillion ($145.8 million) in public investment capital was disbursed, equal to 60.8 per cent of the annual target and ranking it tenth out of Vietnam’ s 63 cities and provinces.
