The People's Committee of the Mekong Delta province of Tien Giang, in collaboration with the Ministry of Industry and Trade, has inaugurated the Mekong River Delta Trade and Industry Fair – Tien Giang 2024, the national radio broadcaster Voice of Vietnam reported.

The fair, taking place in My Tho city, runs until December 25. It has attracted over 250 booths from enterprises, cooperatives, and rural industrial facilities from both within the Mekong Delta region and beyond.

The event showcases a diverse range of products from various localities. These include fresh and processed agricultural, forestry, and aquatic products; machinery, equipment, and production lines for industrial and agricultural products; and information technology.

The fair also features textiles, leather goods, accessories, bricks, ceramics, porcelain, glass, traditional handicrafts, and various services such as tourism, telecommunications, and consultancy for industrial and trade promotion.

As part of the fair's activities, a conference titled “Support for Farmers in Production and the Development of OCOP Products” (One Commune One Product) will also be held.
