Transport ministry submits plan to kick off expressway and ring road projects

Construction of three expressways and one ring road in HCMC to get underway on June 18.

The Ministry of Construction has submitted to the Prime Minister a plan to kick off construction of some expressway and ring road projects this month.

Construction of the Khanh Hoa - Buon Ma Thuot, Bien Hoa - Vung Tau, and Chau Doc - Can Tho - Soc Trang Expressways and Ring Road No. 3 in Ho Chi Minh City is scheduled to start on June 18.

Construction of Ring Road No. 4 in the Hanoi capital region will be announced later by the municipal People’s Committee after the project meets construction conditions.

Ring Road No. 4 will have a total length of 112 km and connect Hanoi with Hung Yen and Bac Ninh provinces.

The project has total investment of over VND85 trillion ($3.58 billion).
