Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha has signed a decision approving an investment plan to build an eco-urban resort in northern Tuyen Quang province.

The My Lam - Tuyen Quang eco-urban resort will span 540.25 hectares in Tuyen Quang city and have an estimated population of 19,735 people.

Initial investment stands at over VND17.1 billion ($721,000), excluding more than VND1.23 billion ($52,000) for site compensation and resettlement.

Investors will be selected via bidding.

The project will be implemented over four years and is licensed to operate for 50 years.

It is expected to create a breakthrough in development in Tuyen Quang province and neighboring localities.
