USAID to fund Mekong Delta coastal habitat protection

To be implemented over three years from 2021 to 2024 and with a budget of $2.9 million from the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), the “Conservation of Coastal Habitat in the Mekong Delta” project was launched on October 21. The project is expected to improve the sustainability of the local fisheries sector, enhance adaptation to climate change, and improve biodiversity conservation.
