National flag carrier Vietnam Airlines has officially resumed flights between Hanoi and Malaysia’s capital Kuala Lumpur.
Frequency is four flights a week, on Monday, Thursday, Friday, and Sunday.
The airline is also operating eleven flights a week between Ho Chi Minh City and Kuala Lumpur.
Vietnam Airlines has resumed most of its international routes since Vietnam reopened its borders last March, with a total more than 600 flights a week, or 70 per cent of pre-pandemic levels.
In 2019, prior to Covid-19, it carried more than 220,000 passengers between Vietnam and Malaysia.
