National Assembly (NA) Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue and his Bulgarian counterpart Rosen Zhelyazkov agreed to expand cooperation in fields such as manufacturing and processing, high-technology, innovation, healthcare, pharmaceuticals, and, especially, economy and logistics during talks in Sofia on September 25 (local time).

The talks were held on the occasion of NA Chairman Hue’s official visit to Bulgaria at the invitation of Mr. Zhelyazkov.

This is part of cooperative orientations reached by the two sides to further boost bilateral relations effectively in all fields.

They also committed to creating favorable conditions for products from the two countries to access the other market and to promote cooperation in traditional areas such as education and training, labor, and tourism.

In order to improve the trade balance and enhance economic cooperation, the two committed their support for the effective implementation of bilateral documents and within the EU framework.

They also agreed to soon organize the 24th meeting of the inter-governmental committee for economic, trade, and scientific cooperation.
