Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha and First Deputy Prime Minister of Cuba Ricardo Cabrisas Ruíz agreed to enhance the economic, trade, and investment cooperation between the two countries during talks in Havana on September 18 (local time).

Focus will be placed on aquaculture projects, corn development, rice production, and cooperation in biotechnology and pharmaceuticals.

They also discussed specific measures to further promote comprehensive, practical, and effective cooperation between the two countries, including increasing the exchange of visits and meetings at all levels and coordinating in the implementation of the results from the visit, particularly in the fields of science and technology and innovation.

Deputy Prime Minister Ha said the Vietnam-Cuba relationship is growing very well and he hopes to see more Cuban projects in Vietnam.
