Vietnam to buy 20 million more Pfizer doses

The government has decided to spend more than VND2.6 trillion ($114.5 million) from the Covid-19 Vaccine Fund to purchase nearly 20 million additional doses of the Pfizer vaccine. According to the Ministry of Finance, Vietnam needs 150 million doses in order to vaccinate 75 million people, costing VND25.2 trillion ($1.1 billion).
