According to the General Statistics Office, the CPI in October was down 0.2 per cent compared to September. The increase in the first ten months of the year was 1.81 per cent year-on-year; the lowest since 2016. Core inflation in October, meanwhile, rose 0.84 per cent.

The US Agency for International Development (USAID) has announced a grant of $860,000 for three new renewable energy projects in Vietnam. The new funds will help reduce risks facing project developers and encourage private investment in renewable energy development in the country.

The Vietnam-Denmark Energy Partnership Program for the 2021-2025 period is being implemented by the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Danish Department of Energy with non-refundable aid of DKK 60.3 million ($10 million) under Danish technical assistance efforts.
