The city has issued a plan to implement the socio-economic growth strategy for 2026-2030 with science and technology, innovation and digital transformation being identified as key drivers of the city’s new growth model.

According to the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment, priority must be given to defending staple commodity groups that form the foundation of exports, notably wood, wooden products, and seafood, while maintaining momentum in fruits & vegetables, especially durian.

The new regulations will take effect on October 1, 2026.

Enacting a Law on the Development of Cultural Industries is therefore critical to finalizing the legal framework, unblocking resources, spurring creativity, expanding markets, and positioning cultural industries as a national growth engine.

Vietnam consistently attaches importance to its relations with Canada, and highly valued the important progress in bilateral relations after nearly a decade of implementing the Comprehensive Partnership framework, said General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam Central Committee and President To Lam.
